Continuity is therefore the heart of this work rather than a detail of it. We try to send the same staff to the same people, because trust is slow to build and quickly undone, and a worker who knows somebody notices early when things are slipping. Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and have senior colleagues they can reach when a situation is unclear. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are glad to talk about that openly.
