About Care View
Care View provides support to people in their own homes across Gloucester and the surrounding parts of Gloucestershire. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, those with visual or hearing impairments and younger adults. People usually come to us because something specific has become difficult rather than because they want care in general. Getting up in the morning. Managing medication. Recovering after a spell in hospital. We prefer to start with that actual difficulty and build support around it, rather than offering a standard package that may not solve the problem. Our visits cover personal care, medication, meals, mobility, help at the start and end of the day and support to get out and about. Care is planned around a person's own routine, and we keep the same familiar faces coming wherever we can, because home care only works properly when the person at the door already knows how things are done. For people with sensory impairments we adapt how we communicate rather than expecting anyone to adapt to us. For those living with dementia, we follow the routines that already work instead of imposing new ones. We have not yet received an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission. If you are considering support for yourself or a relative, we are glad to visit, listen and explain honestly what we could offer.
