About Re-enabled Support
Re enabled Support provides home care to adults in Nantwich and the surrounding part of Cheshire. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autism, people managing mental health conditions, and people with physical disabilities. Our name describes what we are aiming at. A great deal of our work is about helping somebody get back to managing for themselves rather than settling into being looked after. Often people come to us after a spell in hospital, an illness or a fall, when confidence has taken a knock and the ordinary business of the day has become daunting. We work on what somebody wants to be able to do alone, we practise it with them rather than around them, and we step back as they take it on. Where ongoing support is genuinely needed, we provide it honestly and review it as circumstances change. Visits can cover help with washing and dressing, medicines, meals, the household and shopping, and support to get out to appointments, groups, work or simply to see people. We keep the team around each person small, which matters especially for anybody living with dementia, and we agree the plan with the person rather than writing it about them. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
