About Belong at Home Domiciliary Care Agency
Belong at Home in Crewe provides care and support in people's own homes across the town and the surrounding part of Cheshire. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people with mental health needs, people with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairment and younger adults. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of that, and also conscious that a rating describes a moment rather than a promise, so we would rather tell you how we work and let you judge for yourself. In short, we build support around the household rather than around our rota. Before anything begins we spend real time working out what would genuinely help, what a person would rather keep doing themselves and how they like things done in their own home. Then we build a small, settled team around them and protect it, because a familiar face at the door changes the whole feel of a visit and because consistency is the first thing to go when a service is run for its own convenience. For people living with dementia that familiarity is worth more than anything else we could offer, and we take time to learn about a person's life so that we can make sense of what we see. Where somebody has a sensory impairment we adapt how we communicate and leave the home exactly as they expect to find it. Please get in touch if you would like to talk things through.
