About SureCare
SureCare Cheshire East supports people in their own homes in Macclesfield and the surrounding area. We work with older people and with younger adults, and our experience covers dementia, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and sight and hearing loss. Support is worked out at home with the person and whoever they want present, not decided in advance. For some people a single short call each day is enough, perhaps to help with washing and dressing or to make sure medication has been taken. For others we come several times, with meals, company, help around the house and support to get out and about. The plan is agreed together and changes when life changes. Reliability is what makes care at home work. Arriving at the agreed time. Staying the full visit instead of rushing off. Sending carers the person already knows. Ringing a family before they have to ring us. We keep rounds tight and local so those are promises we can keep. Where somebody is living with dementia we pay close attention to timing and familiar faces. Where there is sensory loss we think about lighting, contrast and hearing aids that have actually been checked. Where somebody is managing a mental health condition we try to be steady and predictable. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall.
