We work with older people, adults living with dementia, people managing mental ill health, adults with physical disabilities, people with sight or hearing loss and younger adults. Care at home works when it fits round a life rather than reorganising it. So we begin by asking what somebody actually wants help with, what they can still manage themselves and what they would rather we left alone. That becomes the plan, written in plain language, agreed with the person, and changed when circumstances change instead of sitting unread. The work covers washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping, laundry and housework, help to get out to appointments or to see people, and time given to genuine company rather than a signature at the door. For those living with dementia we keep the same carers going in and the routine steady, because unfamiliarity unsettles people more than any task does. We keep rounds tight around Crewe so calls arrive when they should, train carers before they work alone and supervise them in people's homes afterwards. Our office is meant to be easy to reach. We are a newer team and have not yet had a full inspection of our own, which we would rather say plainly than have you find out. Please ask us whatever you need to before deciding.
