About Cheshire
We are a home care agency based in Crewe, supporting people across Cheshire East in the places they already know best: their own homes. Our visits go to older people, to younger adults, and to people with learning disabilities and autistic people who want support that fits around an ordinary life rather than reshaping it. What that means in practice depends entirely on the person. For some it is help with washing and dressing at the start of the day, a hot meal, and someone to keep an eye on medication. For others it is support to get to college or work, to manage a household, or to go out somewhere without a parent or sibling having to come along. We ask what matters to the person first and build the visits around that, then review the arrangement as needs change rather than waiting for a crisis to force the question. We try hard to send the same small group of people to the same person each week. Familiarity makes a real difference, particularly where communication takes time or where a routine has to be followed closely, and it also means someone notices when things are not quite right. We have not yet been given an overall rating by the Care Quality Commission. We are happy to talk openly about how we work, what we can cover and what we cannot, and to put you in touch with people who already use us.
