About Walfinch Mid & South
We provide care in people's own homes across mid and south Buckinghamshire, working out of High Wycombe. Our purpose is to make staying at home a realistic option, with support that turns up when it should and is delivered by people the household knows. We visit older people needing help with washing, dressing, meals and medication, and people living with dementia, where consistency of carer counts for a great deal. We also support adults who have a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and people whose sight or hearing is impaired. The length and shape of visits varies accordingly, from a short call to get the day started to several hours of support. We put a lot of thought into matching. Someone coming into your home every morning needs to be somebody you are glad to see, so we introduce carers properly and we listen if a match is not working. Everything begins with a home visit and an unhurried conversation about what is wanted. The plan we write from that is in plain language, agreed with the person and reviewed as circumstances move on. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please ring if you would like to talk through the options.
