About Dat Healthcare
Dat Healthcare is a home care agency working across Bristol. We support people in their own homes so that daily life can carry on in the place where it makes sense, surrounded by their own things, their own neighbours and their own routines. We visit older people who need a hand at the start and end of the day, people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people managing mental ill health, people with a physical disability, and people with sight or hearing loss. Calls range from a single short visit through to several a day, and support can be arranged for a few weeks after illness just as readily as for the long term. Home care lives or dies on the details. Arriving when we said we would. Sending carers who already know the household and know that the kettle goes on before anything else. Noticing that somebody has become quieter, or is not eating as they were, and passing that on rather than assuming someone else will. We keep our rounds as settled as we can so that those things are possible. We visit and talk properly before support starts, and the plan is written with the person, including the parts they want to keep doing for themselves. If something is not working, we would rather hear it early and change it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Ring us if you would like to talk through what care at home in Bristol might look like.
