About Core1Care
Core1Care provides care and support to people in their own homes across Bristol. We work with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, and people dealing with alcohol or drug misuse. We begin by visiting and listening. What somebody needs is often different from what a referral suggests, and support arranged without that conversation rarely fits the household it is meant to help. Once we have agreed what would genuinely make a difference, we set it out plainly and get on with it. Our support can include personal care, prompting and help with medication, preparing meals and drinks, help with moving about safely, shopping, laundry and housework, and support to get out to appointments and activities. For some of the people we work with, the most valuable thing we offer is a reliable, steady presence and support that does not come with judgement attached. Our carers are trained for the needs they support and supervised in the work, and we keep teams consistent wherever the rota allows. We work alongside families and the health and social care professionals involved so that support is joined up. If you are considering care at home in Bristol, please contact us and we will arrange to come and see you.
