About Care Quality Services

We provide care at home for people across Bristol, supporting them in the houses and flats they already know rather than asking them to move anywhere. The people we visit include older people, many of them living with dementia, as well as younger adults, people with a physical disability and people with sight or hearing loss. Everything begins with a proper conversation in your own home about your routine, your preferences and where help would make the biggest difference. Visits can cover personal care and medication, cooking, shopping and housework, getting out to appointments, or company for somebody who sees very few people in a week. Some people need one short call a day and others need several, or support overnight, and we are happy to start small and adjust as things change. Keeping the same carers visiting the same people is something we protect. We treat it as the standard we are expected to hold rather than something to advertise, and we keep asking the people we visit whether we are doing what we promised.
