About Care and Support Service - Cote Lane
We are the Cote Lane care and support team in Bristol, providing care to people in their own homes across the city and the surrounding area. We visit older people and younger adults. Support may cover personal care, help with medication, meals, shopping, laundry and keeping on top of the house, and for a good many of the people we see it also means a familiar face at a predictable hour and someone who notices how they are doing. We support people living with dementia and plan our rounds so that the same carers visit the same people wherever we can arrange it, because familiarity is the most effective thing anybody can offer in dementia care. We also work with people who have physical disabilities and people living with sight or hearing loss, adapting how we communicate and how we work in somebody's home so that help is safe and genuinely useful. Care begins with an assessment at home and a proper conversation about what would really help. The plan belongs to the person, family are involved when they want them to be, and it changes as needs change. The Care Quality Commission rated us good at our most recent inspection. Please contact us if you would like to discuss support at home.
