About Aspire Care
Aspire Care provides home care to adults in Bristol and the surrounding area. We support older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, and people with physical disabilities. We come to you, which means our work has to fit the household it enters rather than asking the household to rearrange itself. Depending on what is needed, a visit might cover help with washing and dressing, prompting or giving medicines, cooking a meal and seeing that it is eaten, laundry and tidying, shopping, or support to get out to appointments and to see people. Some visits are short and practical, others longer, and for some people the company is as much the point as the tasks. Before anything starts we agree a plan with you, and with your family if that is what you want. We ask how you like things done, what you would rather manage yourself, what a difficult day looks like and who we should contact if we are worried. Then we revisit that plan when your circumstances change instead of filing it away. For anybody living with dementia and for anybody with mental health needs, steadiness counts for a great deal, so we keep the visiting team small, follow a recognisable routine, and pay attention when somebody seems less well than they were the week before.
