Where sight or hearing loss is part of the picture we get the small habits right: announcing ourselves, leaving furniture where it lives, checking that aids and glasses are working. Genuine improvement comes from listening to the households we visit and then acting rather than recording. That is where our attention is, and anybody is welcome to hold us to it.
