About Sandmar
Here at Sandmar, we are proud to offer a warm and welcoming home for the people who come to live with us in the heart of Trowbridge, Wiltshire. We believe that moving into a care home is a significant step, and we work hard to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels genuinely at ease from the very beginning. We support a range of individuals, including older people, younger adults, and those living with mental health needs. Alongside our residential care, we also offer respite stays for those who need a short break or some additional support during a difficult period. Whatever brings someone to Sandmar, we take the time to understand who they are, what matters to them, and how we can best support their day to day life. Our team takes real pride in the relationships we build with residents and their families. Care is not one size fits all, and we are mindful that each person has their own history, preferences, and routines. We try to honour that as much as possible, whether that means how someone likes to spend their morning, the food they enjoy, or simply the way they prefer to be spoken to. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection resulted in an overall rating of Good, which reflects the effort our team puts in every single day. That said, we never see a good rating as a reason to stop improving. We are always looking at how we can do things better and how we can make Sandmar an even more comfortable and supportive place to be.
