Here at Croftside, we are a residential care home based in the heart of Milnthorpe, a quiet and welcoming market town in Westmorland and Furness. We provide a warm, homely environment where the people who live with us are genuinely at the centre of everything we do. We support a wide range of individuals, including older people, those living with dementia, adults with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairments, and younger adults who need residential support. We also offer respite care for those who need a short stay, whether to recover, to give family members a break, or simply to try out life with us before committing to something longer term. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of good, which we feel reflects the standard of care and support our team provides every day. That said, we never see a good rating as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can improve and listening to feedback from residents, families and staff to help us do that. Milnthorpe itself is a lovely place to call home, and we make the most of the local community and surrounding countryside wherever we can.
