Safe
Inspectors found that medicines were managed safely. People who could manage their own medicines were supported to do so. Staff were recruited safely, and there were enough staff to meet people's needs. There were policies and processes to protect people from abuse, and staff knew the safeguarding process well.
Effective
Inspectors found that staff were well trained. People's needs were fully assessed, and care plans were reviewed regularly with their keyworker. People had full access to other health and social care services and were supported to use them.
Caring
Inspectors found that staff were kind and knew people's needs well.
Responsive
Inspectors found that people's individual needs, preferences and choices were respected and supported. People were able to live the life they chose.
Well-led
Inspectors found that there were systems to check the quality and effectiveness of the service. A development plan was made each year to address areas for improvement. Feedback was sought from people, their relatives and staff. The service had strong partnerships with local community services and health practitioners.
