About L'Arche Zacchaeus
Here at L'Arche Bognor Regis Zacchaeus, we are a residential care home nestled in the heart of Bognor Regis, West Sussex, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to live full and meaningful lives as part of a genuine community. What makes us a little different is the L'Arche ethos at the core of everything we do. L'Arche communities around the world are built on the belief that people with and without learning disabilities are stronger together, and that idea shapes the way we live and work here every day. We are not simply a place where people receive support; we are a home where relationships matter and where everyone has something to offer. We provide both long term residential care and respite care, so whether someone is joining us as a permanent member of our community or staying with us for a shorter period of rest and recovery, we work hard to make sure they feel genuinely at home. We take time to get to know each person, understanding what brings them joy, what they find difficult, and what they want from their life. That understanding shapes the support we offer. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which we are proud of, though we always see it as encouragement to keep listening, keep learning, and keep improving. We are based in Bognor Regis, a town we are very much part of. We value the connections our community members have locally, whether that is friendships, activities, or simply being known and welcomed in the neighbourhood. If you would like to find out more about life here at Zacchaeus, we would love to hear from you. You are very welcome to get in touch and have a conversation with us.
