About L'Arche Jericho
Here at L'Arche Bognor Regis Jericho, we are a residential care home nestled in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, and we support adults with learning disabilities and autism to live full, meaningful lives as part of a genuine community. What makes us a little different is the L'Arche way of doing things. We are not simply a place where support is provided and received. We are a community where people with and without learning disabilities live and work alongside one another, building real relationships grounded in mutual respect. That ethos shapes everything we do, from the way we share meals together to the way we plan each person's care around who they actually are, not just what they need on paper. We offer both residential care and respite care, so whether someone is moving in with us long term or staying for a shorter period to recharge, we work hard to make sure they feel genuinely welcome and at home from the very start. We take time to get to know each person properly, their routines, their preferences, their humour, the things that matter most to them. We want to be straightforward with anyone looking at our home. Our most recent Care Quality Commission rating is "requires improvement", and we take that seriously. We have listened carefully to the feedback, we have made changes, and we continue to work through our improvement plan with honesty and commitment. We believe families and prospective residents deserve to know that, and we are glad to talk openly about where we are in that process. If you would like to find out more about life here, or come and see the home for yourself, please do get in touch. We would genuinely love to hear from you.
