About The Laurels
Here at The Laurels, we are a care home nestled in the beautiful town of Arundel in West Sussex, and we are proud to offer a genuinely warm and homely environment for the people who live with us. We support a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, and people with learning disabilities or autism. We also offer respite care for those who need a shorter stay, whether to recover, to have a break from their usual routine, or to give family members and carers some time to rest. Whatever brings someone to us, we do our best to make sure they feel settled, respected, and at ease from the moment they arrive. Our residential care is built around the people we support. We take time to understand what matters to each person, how they like their day to look, what they enjoy, and what makes them feel comfortable. That shapes everything we do, from the way we plan activities through to the smaller everyday moments that make a real difference to someone's quality of life. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of Good, and we work hard to maintain and build on that standard. It reflects the effort and commitment of our whole team, who genuinely care about the people they work alongside each day. Arundel is a wonderful place to call home, and we are lucky to be part of such a welcoming community. Whether you are exploring options for yourself or for someone you love, we would always encourage you to come and visit us, ask questions, and get a feel for who we are. We think the best way to understand The Laurels is simply to come and see it for yourself.
