About Homes
Here at Woking Homes, we provide residential care for older people in the heart of Woking, Surrey. Our team works hard every day to make sure that each person who lives with us feels genuinely at home, comfortable, and well looked after. We specialise in older person care, residential care, dementia care, and respite care. Whether someone moves in with us permanently or comes for a shorter stay to recover or give a family carer some breathing space, we aim to make that experience as positive and reassuring as possible. For those living with dementia, we understand how important familiar routines and a calm, supportive environment can be, and we shape our approach around each individual rather than expecting them to fit around us. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as Good. That result reflects the effort our whole team puts in, and it gives families confidence when they are making what can feel like a very difficult decision about care. We know that choosing a care home for yourself or someone you love is not something anyone takes lightly. There can be a lot of uncertainty and emotion involved, and we try to make the process as straightforward as we can. We welcome visits, encourage questions, and are happy to spend time with prospective residents and their families so that everyone feels informed and at ease before any decisions are made. Life here is shaped as much as possible by the preferences of the people who live with us. Mealtimes, activities, rest and social time all take their lead from what matters to each resident. We think that is simply how good care should work. If you would like to find out more about Woking Homes, please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
