About Cavendish
We are Cavendish, a residential care home in Redhill, Surrey. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment, including younger adults. Respite stays are available. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of that and also clear about what it means. It is not a promise that nothing will ever go wrong here. It reflects the fact that we know the people who live here well, that our staff are properly supported, and that when something needs putting right we deal with it rather than explaining it away. Day to day, this is a home first. The people who live here decide how their week runs, what is cooked, how the place looks and how much company they want. Some want a busy week with work, college, sport or regular groups. Others want quiet and a rhythm they can rely on, and where change is unsettling we keep things steady and prepare carefully for anything unusual. Access, equipment and communication get proper attention so that they do not end up shaping the whole day. Please contact us if you would like to visit and ask us anything you wish.
