About Bracken Lodge
Here at Bracken Lodge, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Caterham, Surrey. Our home supports people living with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities, and we also offer respite care for those who need a short break or a period of additional support. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a person or their family will ever make. That is why we work hard to ensure that everyone who comes through our doors feels genuinely at home, not just accommodated. We take time to get to know each person as an individual, understanding their routines, their preferences and the things that matter most to them day to day. Our team supports people to live as independently as possible while ensuring they have the right level of care around them. Whether someone is joining us for a short respite stay or making Bracken Lodge their long term home, we aim to provide an environment that feels safe, comfortable and full of life. We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good. This reflects the commitment of our whole staff team, but we never see a good rating as a reason to stand still. We are always looking at how we can improve and listening to the people we support, their families and our staff to help shape how we do things. If you are considering care for yourself or someone you love, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and visit us. There is no better way to get a real feel for who we are than by seeing Bracken Lodge for yourself, and we are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
