About Rainbow Lodge
We are a residential care home in Camberley, Surrey, supporting older people and younger adults, including adults with a learning disability or autism. We also offer respite stays for people who need support for a period rather than permanently. Supporting people across a range of ages and needs works only if you start from the individual. For some of the people who live here what is wanted is largely practical, help with personal care, medication, meals and getting about. For others it is a day that runs to a shape they can rely on, notice before anything changes, and staff who understand that a particular routine is not a preference but the thing that makes the day manageable. We talk to the people we support, to their families and to the professionals who know them, and we build the support around what we learn rather than around what suits our rota. Where somebody can do something for themselves we would far rather they did, even when it takes longer and looks less tidy than if we did it for them. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Visitors are welcome and anybody considering a place here, or a respite stay, will learn more from half an hour in the building than from anything written down. Please get in touch and we will arrange a time that suits you and your family.
