About Green Acres
Here at Green Acres, we are a residential care home based in Banstead, Surrey, and we are proud to be part of this community. We support a range of individuals, including younger adults, people with learning disabilities and autism, and those who need short term respite care. Whether someone is joining us for a longer stay or simply taking a break from their usual routine, we aim to make sure every person who comes through our doors feels genuinely at home. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the biggest decisions a family can face, and we do not take that trust lightly. Our team takes the time to get to know each person as an individual, understanding their preferences, their history, and the things that matter most to them in daily life. We believe good care is built on real relationships, not just routines. Our approach to supporting people with learning disabilities and autism is rooted in respect and consistency. We work closely with individuals and their families to ensure that our support fits around the person, rather than expecting the person to fit around us. For those coming to us for respite, we work hard to create a warm and familiar atmosphere so that the transition feels as easy as possible. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of good, which reflects the genuine effort our whole team puts in every day. We are always looking at how we can continue to improve and grow. If you would like to find out more about life at Green Acres or would like to arrange a visit, we would love to hear from you. We are always happy to have a conversation and help you decide whether we might be the right fit.
