About Coniston House
At Coniston House, we offer residential care in the heart of Felixstowe, Suffolk, for people who need a little extra support in their day to day lives. We are proud to be a home in the truest sense of the word, where the people who live with us are treated as individuals and where their routines, preferences and personalities genuinely shape the way we work. We support older people, those living with dementia, younger adults, and people who need a short respite stay. Whether someone comes to us for a few weeks to recover or recuperate, or whether they make Coniston House their permanent home, we aim to make sure they feel comfortable, valued and well looked after from the moment they arrive. Dementia care is something we take seriously. We understand how unsettling and complex this journey can be, both for the person living with dementia and for their family. We work hard to create an environment that feels calm and familiar, and we take time to get to know each person's history and what brings them comfort. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which we are genuinely pleased about, though we always look for ways to keep improving. Feedback from residents and their families matters to us and we use it to make real changes rather than simply acknowledging it and moving on. Felixstowe is a wonderful place to call home, and we feel fortunate to be part of this community. Families are always welcome here and we encourage people to visit and get a feel for the home before making any decisions. If you would like to find out more about what we offer, please do get in touch. We would be glad to have a conversation and show you around.
