Here at The Chestnuts, we are a residential care home based in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and we are proud to support the people who live with us every single day. We specialise in residential care, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, and we also offer respite care for individuals and families who need short term support. We understand that choosing a care home, whether for yourself or someone you love, is one of the most significant decisions a family can make. We do not take that trust lightly. Our team works hard to ensure that each person in our care is treated as an individual. For those living with a learning disability or autism, we know how important consistency, clear communication and a familiar environment can be, and we build our approach around that understanding. Our respite care offer means that family carers and loved ones can take a break knowing that the person they care for is in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment. We aim to make every stay, whether short or long term, feel settled and positive from the very beginning. We were rated Good by the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection, which reflects the commitment of everyone who works here. We are always looking at how we can do things better and we welcome open conversations with residents, families and professionals.
