About Ideal Home
Ideal Home is a residential care home in Shrewsbury. We support older people, including those living with dementia, and we also care for younger adults who need residential support. Respite stays are available for planned short breaks and for people recovering after illness. For residents living with dementia we keep routines familiar, use life history to make sense of what somebody needs and follow the person rather than correcting them. Relatives are welcome without appointment, and we would encourage anybody thinking about a place here to visit, look around properly and ask us the difficult questions.
