We are proud to hold an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission, something which reflects the hard work and commitment of everyone here, and the genuine relationships we build with the people we support. We know that moving into a care home, or accessing respite care, can feel like a big step for individuals and their families. Our aim is to make that transition as smooth and as reassuring as possible. From the moment someone walks through our door, we want them to feel at home, valued and heard. We take time to get to know each person properly, understanding their routines, their preferences, their history and what matters most to them in day to day life. For those who come to us for respite care, we aim to offer a welcoming and familiar environment, so that every stay feels comfortable rather than unsettling. We work closely with families and carers to make sure continuity is maintained and that people feel safe while they are with us. Supporting people with learning disabilities and autism means recognising that no two people are the same. We tailor our approach to each individual, making sure that our support enables people to live as independently and as fully as possible. We believe strongly in treating everyone with dignity and respect, and in giving people a real say in their own lives. We are a close knit team here at Hudson Road and we are genuinely proud of what we have built together with the people we support and their families.
