About Sunnyside Care Homes - 410-412 High Road
We are a residential home on High Road in Ilford, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, including people with physical disabilities. The house is a home first. People living here have their own rooms, their own belongings and a say in how the place runs, from what is cooked to what happens at the weekend. We think that matters a great deal for adults who may have spent years having decisions made on their behalf. Support is arranged around each person rather than around a timetable. For some that means help with personal care, health appointments and medication. For others it is mainly about doing things: going out, keeping up with family, managing money with a hand from staff, taking part in activities locally, or working towards something they want to be able to do themselves. For autistic people in particular, consistency of staff and a predictable rhythm to the day often do more good than anything written in a plan, so we keep our team as settled as we can. We also offer respite stays, which can give a family a planned break while the person stays somewhere familiar and properly supported. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If you are looking for a place for yourself or a member of your family, please come and visit. We will be straight with you about whether we can support the needs you describe.
