About Broomhill Lodge
Here at Broomhill Lodge, we are a residential care home based in Ilford, Redbridge, and we are proud to support adults with learning disabilities and autism in a home that genuinely feels like theirs. We specialise in residential care, learning disability and autism support, and respite care. What this means in practice is that we work with people who have a wide range of needs, and we take the time to understand each person as an individual rather than simply working from a care plan. Everyone who comes through our doors has their own personality, preferences, routines and goals, and we try to reflect that in everything we do. Our respite care offer is something we think carefully about. We know that families and carers sometimes need a break, and we want people coming to us for respite to feel comfortable and settled from the moment they arrive, not like they are simply filling a temporary space. We put real thought into making short stays feel as relaxed and familiar as possible. We were recently rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, which we are genuinely pleased about. It reflects the consistency and thoughtfulness our team brings to their work each day. We do not take that rating for granted and we are always looking at what we can do better. We are part of the local Ilford community and we value that connection. Whether someone is with us long term or joining us for a short respite stay, we want them and their families to feel they can speak to us openly and that we are approachable and honest. If you would like to find out more about what we offer or come and visit us, we would be very happy to hear from you.
