At Scottlyn, we offer a warm and welcoming home for the people who live with us in the heart of Morpeth, Northumberland. We are proud to provide residential care for older people, younger adults, and individuals with a learning disability or autism, as well as respite care for those who need a shorter stay. Whatever brings someone through our door, our aim is always the same: to make sure they feel genuinely at home and well looked after. We work hard to get to know each person as an individual. Their preferences, routines, and what matters most to them shapes how we care for them day to day. We do not believe in a one size fits all approach, and we take time to understand the whole person, not just their care needs. Our team in Morpeth is made up of people who genuinely care about the difference they make. They receive regular training and support so that the care we provide reflects current best practice, particularly for those living with a learning disability or autism, where consistency and understanding are so important. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of good, which we feel reflects the effort and thoughtfulness our whole team brings to their work each day.
