About The Gables
Here at The Gables in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, we offer residential care for a wide range of people, and we take real pride in making sure everyone who comes through our doors feels genuinely at home. We support older adults, younger adults, and people living with learning disabilities or autism, as well as those with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. We also offer respite care, which can make an enormous difference for families who need a short break while knowing their loved one is in safe, familiar hands. Whatever brings someone to us, we work hard to understand who they are as a person, not just what their care needs look like on paper. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which reflects the consistent effort our team puts in day to day. We do not take that rating for granted. It is something we hold ourselves to and continue to build on as we learn and grow. Life at The Gables is meant to feel ordinary in the best sense of that word. We want people to enjoy their days, maintain their independence wherever possible, stay connected to the things they love, and feel comfortable enough to tell us when something is not quite right. That kind of openness only happens when trust is built carefully over time, and that is something we invest in every single day. Harrogate is a wonderful place to be, and we make the most of being part of this community. Whether someone is with us long term or just for a short stay, we want their time here to feel worthwhile and looked after. If you would like to find out more or arrange a visit, please do get in touch. We would be glad to welcome you.
