About Bilton Court
Bilton Court is a residential care home in Wellingborough, offering older people a comfortable and settled place to live with support always nearby. Our ambition is fairly modest and, we think, the right one: to get the ordinary things right. Good food, warm rooms, unhurried mornings and staff with time to sit down are what actually make a home work. Many residents here are living with dementia. We support them by learning each person's history and habits, keeping the day predictable, explaining changes before they happen and giving people the time they need rather than the time a rota allows. When somebody is unsettled, we look for the reason behind it. Residents decide how their days run and how much company they want. Rooms are personalised, family and friends are welcome without appointment, and nobody is pushed into activities they have not chosen. We also offer respite stays, which some families use for a break and others as a gentle first step towards a permanent move. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is Good. If you are looking at care homes in the Wellingborough area, please come and see us at an ordinary time of day rather than on a visit arranged to impress you.
