Here at Heather Holmes Care Home in Kettering, North Northamptonshire, we provide residential care for younger adults, including those living with a learning disability or autism. Our respite care gives people the chance to stay with us for a shorter period, whether that is to give a family carer a well earned break or to help someone try out living in a care home environment before making a longer term decision. We aim to make every stay, however brief, feel settled and supported. We are proud that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good. That means a great deal to us, but we do not treat it as a finishing line. We are always looking at how we can do better and listening to the people we support and their families to help us do that.
