Here at Woodlands, we are proud to be a care home rooted in the heart of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, offering a genuine sense of home to the older people who live with us. We provide residential care, dementia care and respite care for older adults, meaning that whether someone is joining us for a short stay to recover or rest, or making Woodlands their permanent home, we do our best to make sure they feel comfortable, safe and genuinely valued from the very first day. Dementia care is an area we take particularly seriously. We understand how disorientating and difficult this journey can be, both for the person living with dementia and for the family members who love them. Our approach is calm, consistent and person centred, with a real focus on preserving dignity and finding the small moments of joy and connection that matter so much. Respite care is something we also offer with real care and thought. We know that taking a short break can feel like a difficult decision for families, and we want anyone staying with us on a respite basis to feel just as welcomed and looked after as our long term residents. We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good across the board, and we work hard every day to maintain and build on that standard. It is not something we take for granted. Woodlands is a place where people know your name, where staff take the time to listen and where family members are always made to feel welcome.
