About Holbeach Meadows Care Home
Holbeach Meadows is a residential care home in Spalding, Lincolnshire. We are home to older people and to younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with a visual or hearing impairment. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are proud of that, though what it really reflects is unglamorous: staff who stay, who know the people they look after, and who are willing to say when something is not right so it can be put right. The care we provide is residential rather than nursing. Staff are here day and night to help with personal care, dressing, medication and meals, while doctors and district nurses come in for clinical needs. For most people that is exactly the right level of support, and it leaves far more of their independence intact. Dementia care rests on consistency and on knowing the person. The same faces, a day that runs in a familiar order and surroundings that are easy to make sense of will settle somebody more reliably than anything else we could do. We learn about a person's working life, family and habits, because that is what explains them to us later. Respite and short stays are available. Please ring us if you would like to look round Holbeach Meadows and meet the people who live here.
