About Bay Lodge
Bay Lodge is a residential care home in Holbeach. We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, many of them younger adults, and we run the house as a home rather than a unit. People living here have their own rooms, their own belongings and a real say in how the household works. We take time to understand how each person communicates and what matters to them, because support built on anything less is just supervision. From there we look at what somebody wants from their week, whether that is work or college, seeing family and friends, getting out locally, or simply having a home that feels properly theirs. Some people want plenty going on; others want a quieter life with support close at hand, and both are treated as sensible choices. We also offer respite stays, which give families a break and give the person staying a change of scene with support they can rely on. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was good. We keep checking our own work between inspections, since that is where standards are either held or quietly lost. If you are looking for a home or a short stay for someone you care about, please get in touch and come and see the house for yourself.
