About Kirby Muxloe
Here at Kirby Muxloe, we are a care home based in Leicester, Leicestershire, and we are proud to support the people who live with us every day. We offer residential care alongside specialist support for people living with a learning disability or autism, mental health needs, and those who require respite care. This range of support means we can be there for people at different points in their lives, whether they need a longer term home with us or a shorter break to recharge. We know that moving into a care home, or supporting a loved one to do so, is a significant decision. Our aim is to make sure that everyone who comes through our door feels genuinely welcomed and at ease. We take the time to get to know each person individually, understanding their preferences, their routines and what matters most to them, so that the support we provide fits around their life rather than the other way around. We are pleased that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in an overall rating of Good. This reflects the effort that goes into the care we provide day to day, and we continue to look for ways to improve and grow as a team. For those who support people with a learning disability, autism or mental health needs, we understand that finding the right environment is especially important. We work closely with residents, families and external professionals to ensure care plans are thoughtful, responsive and regularly reviewed. If you are considering Kirby Muxloe for yourself or someone close to you, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch or come and visit us.
