About Ashmore Grange Care Home

Ashmore Grange Care Home is in Leicester, and we provide residential care for older people, including those living with dementia and those with physical disabilities, alongside respite and short stays. Moving into a care home is rarely anyone's first choice, and we try to remember that. People arrive having given something up, and the least we can do is make sure they gain something in return, safety, company if they want it, good food, warmth, and days that belong to them rather than to a rota. We spend time at the start finding out how a person has always lived. What time they wake, what they eat, what they cannot abide, who matters to them, what work they did, what they believe. All of it goes into their plan and all of it shapes how our staff approach them. Dementia care here is built on consistency. The same faces, the same routines, no rushing, and real attention to what settles an individual, because it differs from person to person. For residents with reduced mobility, the home and our equipment are set up so that people can move about with as much independence as possible. Families are welcome throughout the day, can eat with residents, and hear from us regularly rather than only when there is a problem. We would much rather you came and saw the home in person than took our word for any of this. Please arrange a visit whenever suits you.
