About Lingdale Lodge

Lingdale Lodge is a residential care home in East Goscote, Leicestershire. We support older people who need help with daily life, including many living with dementia, people with mental health needs and people with physical disabilities. We also offer respite stays. Supporting people with quite different needs works because we plan around each person rather than running the house to one pattern. Everyone here has their own plan, agreed with them and with anyone they want involved, covering not just the help they need but what they want their days to hold. The basics apply to everybody. People choose when to get up, what to eat and how much company they want. Privacy is respected, personal care is given quietly and at the person's own pace, and rooms are furnished with people's own belongings. For residents living with dementia, consistency is what helps, so we keep staffing settled and learn each person's history properly. Where somebody has mental health needs, we agree in advance what a difficult period looks like for them and what they would like us to do about it. Health needs are managed alongside local GPs and community teams, and families hear from us early when anything changes. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Please come and look round.
