About Park Riding
Here at Park Riding, we provide residential care for older people in the heart of Holmfirth, a place we think is one of the most welcoming corners of Kirklees. We offer permanent residential care as well as respite stays, so whether someone is moving in with us long term or simply needs a short break from their usual routine, we aim to make them feel genuinely at home from the moment they arrive. We understand that choosing a care home is one of the biggest decisions a family can make, and we do not take that lightly. Our team takes the time to get to know each person as an individual, learning what matters to them day to day, the routines they value, the food they enjoy, and the company they prefer. Care here is built around the person, not the other way around. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as good, and we are proud of that. It reflects the consistency and thoughtfulness our team brings to their work every single day. We are always looking at how we can do things better, and we welcome honest conversations with residents and their families about how we are getting on. Respite care is something we take particularly seriously. We know that for many families, a short stay is the first time a loved one has been in a care setting, so we put a great deal of thought into making that experience as comfortable and reassuring as possible. Holmfirth is a wonderful place to be, and our home sits well within this community. Residents can enjoy the local area, and we encourage connections with the wider neighbourhood wherever we can. If you would like to find out more or arrange a visit, please do get in touch. We would love to show you around.
