About Tristford
Here at Tristford, we provide residential care for a range of people in the heart of Folkestone, Kent. Our team supports older adults, younger adults, people living with a learning disability or autism, and those with physical disabilities. We also offer respite care for individuals who need a short term stay, giving families and carers some breathing space while their loved one is in safe, familiar feeling surroundings. We know that choosing a care home is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and we do not take that lightly. From the moment someone gets in touch with us, we try to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible. We take time to understand each person properly, not just their care needs but their routines, preferences, and the things that matter most to them day to day. Our approach is built around the individual. Care plans are written with residents and their families, not just for them, and we review them regularly to make sure they reflect how someone's needs or wishes may have changed. We believe that good care looks different for every person, and we work hard to get that right. We are proud to have received a rating of good from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the commitment our whole team brings to this work every day. That recognition matters to us, though we are always looking at where we can do better. Tristford is a place where people are treated with genuine respect and warmth. Whether someone is joining us for a short stay or making this their long term home, we want them to feel settled, valued, and well looked after. If you would like to find out more or arrange a visit, we would be very happy to hear from you.
