About The Grange Care Home
Here at The Grange Care Home, we offer residential care for older people in the heart of Folkestone, Kent. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the standard of care and the atmosphere we work hard to maintain every day. We specialise in older person care, residential care and respite care, so whether someone is joining us for a longer term placement or a shorter stay to recover or give a family carer a well earned break, we aim to make The Grange feel like a genuine home rather than simply a place to be looked after. Folkestone is a town with real character, and we think that spirit comes through in the way we run things here. We get to know each resident as an individual, understanding their routines, their preferences and the things that matter most to them. Good care, in our experience, comes from listening first and then acting on what you hear. Family members and loved ones are always welcome, and we encourage people to stay involved in the life of their relative here. Moving into a care home is a significant step for everyone concerned, and we want to make that transition as smooth and reassuring as possible. We are always happy to have a conversation, show people around and answer any questions honestly. Our team works closely together and genuinely cares about the people who live with us. We are not a perfect place, but we are an honest one, and we keep looking for ways to do better. If you are considering care for yourself or someone you love and you think The Grange might be the right fit, please do get in touch. We would be glad to hear from you.
