About Sandgate Manor
Here at Sandgate Manor, we provide residential care for a wide range of people in the heart of Folkestone, Kent. Our team supports older adults, younger adults, people living with a learning disability or autism, and individuals with a physical disability. We also offer respite care for those who need short term support, giving families and carers some breathing space while their loved ones are in safe, familiar hands. We understand that moving into a care home, or even just visiting for a short stay, is a significant step for anyone. We try to make that transition as straightforward and as comfortable as possible by taking the time to get to know each person properly before they arrive, and continuing to listen carefully once they are with us. Everyone who lives here has their own story, their own preferences, and their own way of doing things, and we do our best to reflect that in how we provide support day to day. Our most recent CQC inspection resulted in an overall rating of requires improvement, and we want to be honest about that. We have taken the feedback seriously and have been working through the areas identified, making practical changes to how we operate. We are committed to being open with families and prospective residents about where we are in that process, and we welcome any questions. Folkestone is a community we are genuinely part of, and we value the trust that local families place in us when they choose Sandgate Manor for themselves or someone they love.
