About Camelot Lodge
At Camelot Lodge, we provide residential care for adults in the heart of Folkestone, Kent. We support people with mental health needs as well as younger adults who require a caring and structured environment to help them live as fully and independently as possible. We also offer respite care for those who need a short term stay, whether to recover after a period of illness or to give family carers a chance to rest and recharge. We are proud to have received a rating of "Good" from the Care Quality Commission, which we feel reflects the genuine effort our team puts into making sure every person who lives here feels safe, respected and heard. That rating matters to us, but what matters more is that the people in our care feel at home. Life at Camelot Lodge is built around the individual. We take time to understand each person's history, preferences and goals, and we work with them and their families to put together care that genuinely fits their life rather than asking them to fit around a routine. We know that moving into a care home, or even coming for a short stay, can feel daunting, and we do our best to make that transition as smooth and as human as possible. Our team is experienced across residential and mental health care, and we work closely with community health professionals to make sure everyone receives the right support at the right time. We believe good care is built on honest relationships, consistency and mutual respect. If you are thinking about care for yourself or for someone you love, we would welcome the chance to have a conversation. You are very welcome to come and visit us in Folkestone and see Camelot Lodge for yourself.
