About Spring Grove Road
We are Spring Grove Road, a small residential care home in Isleworth. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, including younger adults, and we also care for older people. Respite stays are available. Being a small house is deliberate. It means the people who live here are not dealing with a constant stream of unfamiliar staff, that routines can be genuinely individual rather than set by the demands of a large rota, and that we usually know without being told when somebody is having a difficult day. We begin with what each person wants their week to look like and work back to the support that makes it possible. That might take in college or work, a regular swim, cooking their own meals, seeing family, or getting out into Isleworth and across London. Where somebody finds noise or change hard, we keep to a predictable rhythm and prepare properly for anything out of the ordinary. This is their home, so choices about food, decoration and how time is spent belong to the people living in it. We also talk risks through with the person and with those who know them well, rather than quietly deciding to be cautious for them. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us if you would like to visit.
