About Imperial Lodge
Imperial Lodge is a residential care home in Hayes. We support adults with mental health needs and people affected by alcohol or drug misuse, and we offer respite stays for people who need residential support for a short period. This house is about stability and recovery rather than simply somewhere to live. Everyone here has a plan they have worked out with us, covering what they want their life to contain, what helps when things get difficult and what they would like us to do if they become unwell. Agreeing that in advance means nobody is trying to make those decisions in the middle of a crisis. Day to day, residents run their own lives as far as they want to and are able to. Cooking, managing money, keeping appointments, work, study, family contact and simply having somewhere settled to be. We support those things rather than take them over. Where somebody is working on their relationship with alcohol or drugs, we back the plan they have chosen and we do not lecture or moralise about it. Our team stays consistent, which matters a great deal here, because knowing a person well is what allows you to notice an early change and respond gently rather than heavily. Any restriction on a person's freedom is agreed properly, recorded and kept under review. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. Professionals, families and prospective residents are welcome to visit.
