About Kildare Close
Here at Kildare Close, we are a residential care home based in the Halton area of Liverpool, and we are proud to support the people who live with us as individuals with their own lives, preferences and goals. We specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, including younger adults who may be at a transitional point in their lives. We also offer respite care, which gives family carers and loved ones the chance to take a break while knowing the person they care for is in a safe, familiar and welcoming environment. What matters most to us is that every person who comes through our doors feels genuinely at home. We take time to get to know the people we support, understanding what they enjoy, what helps them feel comfortable, and how they like their days to look. Support is built around each individual rather than a fixed routine that everyone is expected to fit into. We work closely with families and with other professionals involved in a person's care, because we believe good support does not happen in isolation. Open communication and honest relationships are something we take seriously, and we always encourage families to be involved as much as they wish to be. Our team brings a range of experience in learning disability and autism support, and we are committed to creating an environment where people feel respected and listened to. We know that for many people, moving into residential care or coming for a short respite stay can feel like a big step, and we do everything we can to make that transition as smooth and reassuring as possible. If you would like to find out more about life at Kildare Close or want to discuss whether we might be the right fit for someone you care about, please do get in touch. We are always happy to have a conversation.
