About Jenny's House
Here at Jenny's House, we are a residential care home based in Clacton on Sea, Essex, and we are proud to be part of this community. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, and that reflects the commitment our whole team brings to supporting the people who live with us every day. We support adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities. We also offer respite care, which means families and carers can have a short break knowing their loved one is in a safe, familiar and welcoming environment. Whether someone is with us long term or for a shorter stay, we aim to make sure they feel genuinely at home. Our approach is straightforward. We get to know each person properly, understanding what matters to them, what they enjoy, and how they like their day to look. Support plans are built around the individual rather than fitting people into a routine that suits us. We believe that good care means listening as much as it means doing, and our team works hard to build real, trusting relationships with the people in our care and with their families. Being located in Clacton on Sea means we have a wonderful seaside town on our doorstep, and we love making the most of that. Getting out and about, staying connected to the local community, and having opportunities to do things that bring genuine enjoyment are all things we take seriously. If you are looking for care for yourself or someone you love, we would always encourage you to come and visit us, have a look around, and ask us anything you like. We think the best way to understand what Jenny's House is like is simply to come and meet us.
